Summer & Fall Recreation
When the snow melts, the other seasons offer a host of activities within minutes of the condo. Bring your hiking boots and enjoy numerous local trails or rent mountain bikes at the nearby ski resorts. For those who love the water, the Pineview Reservoir offers swimming, boating, waterskiing, and fishing. Other activties include horse back riding, rock climbing, hot-air ballooning, kayaking, white water rafting, and golfing. Don’t miss the annual Ogden Hot Air Balloon Festival in August or the many marathons and triathlons the area hosts.
Year-Round Entertainment and Dinning
There is shopping and local eateries in downtown Ogden on historic 25th street, which is just 15 minutes away. Additionally, the boutiques and restaurants of Park City as well as the attractions of Salt Lake Cityare only 45 minutes by car.
Winter Recreation
Enjoy some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the West at nearby Snowbasin Mountain--only 5 minutes away. Snowbasin offers a variety of terrain including powder bowls, perfectly groomed cruisers, terrain parks, and an Olympic downhill course. Additionally, the resort boosts three unbelievably luxurious lodges ( with the best views around) as well as newly upgraded lifts and gondolas. On top of all this, the crowds are small and the lift lines are practically non-existent!!
Additionally, Lakeside Resort is in close proximity (20 minutes) to Powder Mountain and Wolf Creek Mountain (a beginner’s mountain). And no more than an hour away to any of the other well known Utah resorts such as Park City, Solitude, Snowbird, etc.
If downhill is not your thing, ride the tubes at Snowbasin or cross country ski or snowshoe the resort’s extensive nordic trails. Snowmobiling, Ice skating, and curling are also nearby.
